    This room... this bedroom...

I really like it. The door creaks, and the view from the window is only a stone wall. But I love it. The last person who was here... they really made it their own. There are imprints on the door (and a thumbtack) from the poster. There is fouled up gunk around the light switch from a removed sticker. But these things make me love it all the more. Someone really made it their own; and though they've long (or perhaps not) since moved out, their memory still echoes upon it's surfaces. It's as much theirs as it is mine. It's really quite beautiful.

There is little worse than running into someone you used to know awkwardly...

So I'm sitting at the sushi bar in which I used to work. Waiting for my order to finish so I can leave. Listening to music, intermittently chatting with my buddy when he happens to pass by, waiting for a certain girl to come out of the back so I can flirt with her. She has a boyfriend, but damn it is she ever hot. Not the greatest face, but when she smiles it drives me insane.

But yes, so I'm sitting, and listening to music. I look outside, and who do I see but the only girl I asked out in grade 12, who totally shot me down. Talking to guys considerably cuter than I am. It was an effort to refrain from staring- from rushing outside and saying hello. So The girl I happened to like came out and was toying with the cash register. I went up and started talking to her. Shortly after, my order finished. I snagged it, and rushed to pay it and went outside, but the girl from the 12th grade was nowhere to be found. To be honest, I'm not entirely sure it was her. Although I am personally convinced of it........

It's not so much the event- I could really care less if I talked to her, aside from the fact that I wrote a song about my infatuation and her indifference, and I would like her to hear it just to see her reaction, but it produces within me a strange emotion; the likes of which I cannot particularly place, and have never elsewise felt.

I was not in love with this girl. Past her rejection, I honestly ceased to care about her, as with most girls who turn me down or end our relationship (that's simply how I think... if it's not meant to be, then it isn't meant to be) but for some reason she struck a very peculiar emotion. I just wish I could experience it again to express it in song or something....

So, I saw this really weird picture

on someone else's journal and wondered if it was a lynch. album cover.
So I decided to do a search for their discography. Did a google search, and wow. There are a lot of musicians with the surname of Lynch. Eventually it wasn't about finding their discog anymore, but seeing how many words I'd have to exclude before finding the stinkin' thing.
This is the search string it took.

lynch discography -james -keith -kenny -ray -keith -george -david -liam -bruce -stephen -shane -charles -robin -stan

    :|

If you're a musician and your last name happens to be Lynch, take my advice and use a pseudonym.
For example, it's not very hard to find information about the career of "Yamantaka Eye"

Bah! Nearly an hour of work for a piece of chicken I devour in under 6 minuites (it was more like 3 1/2, but who's counting?)

Cooking gets more and more annoying the more you do it. Think I'll be eating more spaghetti in the foreseeable future....

So this morning I got a strange call at 6 am...
Being unable to figure out the area code, I called an operator, and it turns out that the first two digits were the country code for the Philippines, and the area code was "9"... Lucky bastards.
    *ahem*

But upon later review I noticed that they'd called me three times, and the latter two times were from the exact same number but with an EXTRA TWO DIGITS at the end. How can that possibly work?

So I called the operator back, as she had been helpful before. A different operator picked up, though. I explained my dilemma as briefly as possible
"Hello, I called earlier about a mysterious number that turns out to be from the Philippines, but they called me back from the same number, but there are an extra two digits at the end! What could that mean?"

then a silence that I swear lasted over ten seconds

"So you don't know anyone in the Philippines?"
"Not that I know of, but that's not my question. How can there be an extra two digits???"
"I have no idea sir. It was obviously a mistake."

A lot of help. This is driving me nuts.

My only theory is maybe someone else from a longer area code called me immediately afterwards, and co-incidentally the first 10 digits matched the last number, but that doesn't seem likely...

    Eh-hem
Well, it's been awhile since I've updated. It's been awhile since I've had the internet. I'm amazed this thing still even exists.
Lately, my life has been pretty... I don't know. Great, fantastic, and yet lacking. I am leaving the country within the next few months, and am exhilerated, afraid, and somehow slightly ashamed. I wish I could write more but there is about a 5 second delay for every letter so it takes forever to write anything at all.

    Nonetheless, ham I am:

    Fortitude and restlessness;
    Of each am I bereft.
I have no love, and yet no hate-
and thus must ask "What's left?"

    I sleep all day
    and fold aneath
    each bitter word
    (for I don't care).

    Be't here or there,
    It matters not.
    All's destitute, I swear

    I love my job.

    Me: "Sexual harrasment!"
Assistant Manager: "But I'm a guy!"
    Me: "You are a homosexual."
Assistant manager: "I guess you're right..."

Of course he isn't, but it's hillarious that he would say that. People with a sense of humor kick ass. Everyone is a prick nowadays...

    「emergence...」

Celia'Xeno is a very wicked band. Download this if you don't have it!
Probably the best new Visual Kei I've heard in awhile.

This is what they look like, though I don't know where poor Kenta is... (just stole this pic from google randomly)

Also, this is kind of neat (Spell check results... I don't use them, it was an accidental click, I swear!)

Dunno why, but I found this hillarious. I was practicing my numa numa dance because I had awhile to kill before having to get ready to go to wrestling practice and my cat decided to sit on the arm of this chair. I found it funny because I was givin' 'er.... basically jumping in the chair, and the cat seemed to enjoy it somehow. He NEVER sits on this chair, always the grey one next to it... but somehow he was enticed by the numa numa dance haha

I really cannot stand listening to my classmates read Shakespeare, or (to a lesser extent) what we're reading now: a streetcar named desire

It makes me really sad. These people don't seem to understand intonation at all... I remember when we were reading Hamlet very specifically one kid reading "How now, Horatio?" (at least I think it was Horatio). The bloody fool read it like "How?" "Now, Horatio." If you read those aloud just as they are written you will be close to how he said it.

So anyways, yesterday we were reading A Streetcar Named Desire, and the fact that people can't read even nearly modern english is both saddening and frightening. It makes me fear for society, the degree to which the masses have become illiterate (and this is english 30-1 as well, mind you!)"

Edit: I figured out the name! (I think) Men, I was way off...

    Whew...
Okay, so, today another guy has told me I'm cute... it's really unnerving. The price of my beer of choice has gone up 50 cents. I found out that according to the people who work at "Rocket" (the stupid store right next to my school, no less) considers my normal (non-aristrocrat non-vk) style of dress as being emo (mostly just because of girl pants, but still.... does this relate at all to the first thing on the list!? :S)
Today has really sucked. Although a few good things happened, like I might have a job pending...
And I managed to write a little prose something I'm actually happy with, although it is a bit too remniscent of Paul's Case at this point... And I managed to make a new sig, for whatever that's worth.
Deathgaze! Hooray for melodic angura-metal! (And bad photoshop jobs!)

Because of having witnessed a friend in drag, somehow I got to considering homosexuality. At first the assertion that it was un-natural popped into my brain, considering the fact that it is essentially going against our baser human instincts. Namely that of the deeply-ingrained (pretty much prevalent over all but the basest of instincts, at least in larger society) drive to reproduce. I think it goes without saying that two people of the same gender will have a really hard time going about that without science, adoption, or help from a third party. Then, though, I began to consider the overpopulation of the planet. Perhaps, it is natural. How else would a species naturally adapt to overpopulation without repressing their sexual drives which would make resuming population at "max potential rate" difficult once the overpopulation had been solved.

    Just an abstract little thought...
